KORFBALL: Nomads Korfball Club will hold a taster session for boys and girls at Westcroft Leisure Centre, Carshalton, on Monday, February 16, from 2pm to 3pm. The sport is similar to basketball or netball. There is £1 charge. For details call Mary Allan on 0181 395 2306.

Hockey: Cheam Hunters destroyed the Cheam Cheetahs 5-0 in the Surrey Open League. Cheam's under 18 Colts beat Yatley 4-0 in the Mercian Home Counties League on Saturday. For details on the club call 0181 946 2061.
Running action
ATHLETICS: The third and final round of Sutton Primary Schools' Cross Country Championships is held next Tuesday. Organised by Sutton and District Athletics Club, over 150 youngsters are expected to take part at Sutton Arena. The action starts at 4pm.
Fives challenge
FOOTBALL: Epsom and Ewell High School's under 12 five-a-side team are playing for a place in the finals of the English Schools FA Wagon Wheels National Cup on Saturday. Success in the area finals at Bury St Edmunds would send the Ruxley Lane school's stars through to the national finals at Villa Park.
Losing count
RUGBY: Old Walcountians were routed in the final 20 minutes by London Divis-ion 3 leaders Alton on Saturday. After stunning the visitors with a try seconds after the turnaround to claw back to 7-20, the OWs faded and Alton ran in five tries near the end.
Sutton on top
FOOTBALL: Sutton Primary Schools Under 11's football stars bounced back to the top of the Surrey League with a 4-1 victory over Elmbridge on Saturday. Sutton moved ahead of Croydon on goal difference but will need to beat Woking this Saturday as Croydon still have a game in hand.
Dynamic Darren
FOOTBALL: A combination of keeper, post and a deflection stopped Darren Payne from bagging a hatrick in Carshalton Athletic's Under 13's 4-1 Tandridge League victory over Langley Celtic on Saturday. Payne opened the scoring with an early goal and knocked in Carshalton's third after a strike from captain Danny Foster 10 minutes into the second half.
Epsom's lead
Hockey: Epsom Ladies are top of the Surrey Premier League after a 4-1 win over Phoenix while Wallington Ladies beat Camberley 3-0.
