Savills builds for future
Savills maintained a cautious outlook for the second half as the company's profits soared in the first six months of the year.
The estate agent reported a pre-tax profit of £14.4m, up from a surplus of just £100,000 last year, as Asia's property boom and the London recovery pushed revenues up by 23% to £304.4m.
Savills will keep its interim dividend unchanged at 3p a share.
The estate agent's shares fell by 18.5p to close at 310.1p.
