Photo-Me booths given a new look
Photo-Me has unveiled its latest photo booth, created by French designer Philippe Starck, as it posted a 26% boost in half-year profits.
But revenues were virtually flat at £118.4m for the six months to October 30 and investors were distinctly unimpressed, with shares closing down 4.6% at 68p.
The company, which has undergone a major restructuring in the last 18 months, said it has received 1,300 orders for its new self-service photo album machines and has signed an agreement to rent out a surplus building in France for £10m.
