A step-up to boss at Segro
Property group Segro has promoted its finance chief David Sleath to the chief executive's role.
He'll take the helm in April when current boss Ian Coull is due to retire before joining housebuilder Galliford Try as chairman in the summer.
Coull has been praised for pursuing the takeover of Segro's heavily indebted rival Brixton at the bottom of the property market last year.
Before becoming finance director at Segro (down 3.8p to 292.8p) in 2006, Sleath had the same job at engineering group Wagon.
