Mason calls cops to report girlfriend
Police are investigating an alleged domestic spat between veteran funnyman JACKIE MASON and his girlfriend after he called the cops to report an attack.
The authorities responded to 75-year-old Mason's apartment in New York on Friday morning after he called 911 and told the police his 48-year-old girlfriend Kaoru Suzuki-McMullen had scratched him in a fight.
According to TMZ.com, Mason told police that he and Suzuki-McMullen had fought over a phone after he threatened to call his building's doorman. He wrestled the receiver from his girlfriend and called 911 instead.
According to law enforcement sources, Suzuki-McMullen was arrested and charged with misdemeanour assault.
