ASOS to review its ties with Numis
Online fashion retailer ASOS is expected to announce shortly that it is reviewing its relationship with midtier broker Numis.
ASOS – which stands for 'as seen on screen' – replicates celebrity fashions and is one of Numis's largest clients worth almost £1.3bn.
The retailer, which also uses JPMorgan Cazenove as its other joint broker, has not said why it is reviewing the relationship, which it has held for almost two years. Numis also declined to comment.
Separately, Numis is understood to be close to finalising an exchange between its lawyers and those of a number of former investors over litigation relating to a private placing in oil company Rock Well Petroleum in 2007.
