Tribal to focus on training markets
Outsourcing and consultancy firm Tribal is to offload its loss-making government and healthcare businesses to Capita for £15.87m.
The deal will leave Tribal to concentrate on its education and training markets in the UK.
Tribal last year issued a profits warning after being hit by government spending cuts.
Chairman John Ormerod said that the Government and health business both needed significant investment to enable them to generate acceptable levels of profitability.
Tribal shares were up 2.75p to 42.50p. Shares in outsourcing giant Capita were down 6p at 727.50p.
