Bunzl plots expansion strategy
Bunzl, the distribution and outsourcing firm, said it could spend more than £200m on acquisitions this year, as it added its trading was 'consistent with expectations' yesterday.
The firm, which provides the cups and bins for Costa Coffee, said it would continue to strengthen its existing markets but had held talks with companies in new territories, including Sweden, Finland, Norway, Chile and Singapore.
The company has bought over 65 rivals for £1bn since 2000. The stock closed up 24p at 738.5p.
