Kier Group wins £600m of new deals
Construction and social housing operator Kier Group has won £600m of new work since the start of the year.
The company (down 3p at 1332p) said it had already secured 80% of its targeted construction revenue for 2012. Kier said its infrastructure and power businesses will grow over the next few years.
It has won £530m of contracts from Crossrail and is shortlisted on five station projects worth more than £1.2bn.
The company said its financial performance is in line with expectations, adding that its net cash position remains healthy.
