Boozy Brits throwing up in the streets (pictured, main and inset), partygoers having sex outside restaurants and getting into fights (pictured, right) - this is the Magaluf that local business owners are sick and tired of. After the Balearic Islands' government launched a fresh crackdown on booze-fuelled holidays this week, businesses in Majorca have today hit out at tourists destroying their 'paradise', declaring: 'It's gone on too long.' They accused drunken Brits, who have long seen trips to Magaluf as a rite of passage (pictured, inset), of treating the 'beautiful' island with no respect and claimed the authorities were not doing enough to help - despite enforcing stricter drinking rules.

Mothers left in blood covered sheets and told to 'stop stressing' over their dead babies: Harrowing reality of giving birth in NHS hospitals revealed in damning report laying bare scandal that traumatised Louise Thompson and hundreds of other women

The UK's first parliamentary inquiry into birth trauma has found there is 'shockingly poor quality' in maternity services, with good care 'the exception rather than the rule'. It heard evidence from more than 1,300 women, including how new mothers had been left in blood covered sheets for hours and even berated by midwives for having soiled themselves. One woman carrying twins who went into premature labour at 19 weeks was told by a consultant to 'stop stressing' after she lost her first baby, the report found. Another, who was dismissed as an 'anxious mother', later lost her baby from complications she warned about. It comes just a day after former Made in Chelsea star Louise Thompson revealed how she thought she would die after she was refused a C-section, lost three and a half litres of blood and tore her womb when giving birth to son Leo.

Has Rylan finally found Mr Right? Inside Judge Rob Rinder's 'old married couple'

The barrister and broadcaster, 45, and his TV partner, 35, had a wonderful time celebrating together at the BAFTAS last night as fans hailed them as the 'perfect couple'. On the red carpet at London 's Royal Festival Hall last night (right), Rob looked adoringly up at his 6ft4in companion  - and he admitted that they have never been closer. 'It's always a joy to be alongside him', he told MailOnline today. Last night Rob shared a picture of them together in Italy with the Lord Byron quote: 'Friendship may, and often does, grow into love' - sparking huge excitement amongst fans wishing happiness and a fresh start for him and Rylan, perhaps even together. Today Rob admitted he has developed a deep bond with Rylan, describing him as the 'real deal' - but insisted they are not in a romantic relationship. 'We aren't a couple. It is what Rylan said, we are like a very old married couple, we row, laugh together and don't have sex', he said. Their show Grand Tour premiered on BBC 2 last night, where the pair spoke movingly about their divorces and looking to rebuilding their lives in a show billed as a bittersweet 'heartbreak holiday'. Rob broke down (main picture) as Rylan admitted he tried to 'end it all' and he 'just sunk' after his marriage to Dan Neal (top image) ended in 2021 after six years. Mr Rinder then spoke tearfully about the pain of unrequited love before sharing a toast to 'love'. Mr Rinder and his ex-husband, barrister Seth Cumming (together, below centre), divorced in 2018.

'I'm missing my babies': Meghan reveals sorrow of being away from Archie and Lilibet on US Mother's Day but it 'feels appropriate to be in the motherland' - as Harry jokes guests at Lagos state reception are his 'in-laws'

Meghan Markle told a reception in Nigeria that it felt 'appropriate to be in the motherland' on US Mother's Day despite her missing children Archie and Lilibet. The Duchess of Sussex said at Lagos State Government House that she was 'very grateful' and 'very humbled' by the welcome the couple had received on their tour. Meghan told the event yesterday: 'Today is Mother's Day (in America). So it feels appropriate that although of course we are missing our children, I'm missing my babies, it feels very appropriate to be in the motherland and amongst family.' The Duchess, who was also honoured with a naming ceremony and received a handwoven Nigerian fabric, added: 'Thank you so much for the kindness and for these beautiful names, I'm very grateful. I can't wait to come back.' Her husband Prince Harry also spoke to the gathering, describing those in the room as his 'in laws', adding: 'I'll skip the protocol because at this point we're all family.' He continued: 'Thank you for welcoming my wife and myself to Nigeria. It's our first visit. It certainly won't be our last. Thank you for the naming ceremony. I don't know how I got dragged into that as well, but to be able to witness it as well next to my wife, it means a huge amount to both of us but especially her, so thank you for that.' Their visit comes after Meghan revealed on her Archetypes podcast in October 2022 that she found out through the DNA-based test that she was '43 per cent Nigerian'.

Never mind faux-royal, Meghan's tour of Nigeria was positively presidential! Inside the

IAN GALLAGHER: Never mind faux-royal, the final leg of Harry and Meghan's tour of Nigeria seemed decidedly presidential. From the moment they touched down in Lagos, the Duke and Duchess were shadowed White House-fashion by secret servicemen muttering into earpieces, armed police officers and scowling special forces soldiers. Not to mention their own, much smaller security team - and a smattering of anxious-looking female aides in shift dresses and Adidas trainers who trailed the Duchess. Or should that be First Lady? For as this tour has unfolded - and the enthusiasm for the couple grown - so Meghan has become increasingly stateswoman-like.
