Revenues at online retailer N Brown take a leap as sales grow

Online retailer N Brown has reported strong sales as brands such as Figleaves.com, Simply Be and Jacamo helped group revenues to jump 2.6 per cent in the 15 weeks to June 14.

Simply Be and Jacamo – fronted by former England cricketer Andrew Flintoff – posted a 6 per cent and a 10 per cent jump in revenues respectively.

N Brown (down 11.7p to 423.5p), which specialises in clothes for older women and larger people, has, in the past, been primarily a mail-order retailer.

But now it generates the bulk of its sales online. 

 

Former Daybreak presenter Lorraine Kelly, pictured, was unveiled last month as the new face of another of N Brown’s fashion brands JD Williams.

Her debut fashion range, which will cater for women aged over 50, will launch in January.
