Daily Mail and General Trust circulation takes a tumble
NEWSPAPER revenues at Daily Mail and General Trust were hit by falling circulation and advertising income, results showed.
Revenues at the Daily Mail continue to decline
Revenues at the Daily Mail and The Mail On Sunday fell 5 per cent to £536million in the year to the end of September.
A drop in print advertising and circulation revenues offset an increase in online income.
Newspapers now account for less than a third of group revenues which rose 3 per cent to £1.86billion, driven by events and business information.
Net debt rose by £30million to £603million.
