DRAX Group has announced that Charles Berry is to retire as chairman and non-executive director at its next annual general meeting in April.
Mr Berry, chairman of Glasgow-based Weir Group, will be succeeded by Philip Cox, who has been appointed as a non-executive director and chairman designate with effect from January 1.
Mr Cox, a former chief executive of International Power, will succeed Mr Berry as chairman at the close of the AGM in the spring.
