W7 owner Warpaint hails strong start to year as FY profits, revenue rise

(Sharecast News) - Cosmetics firm Warpaint said on Thursday that it expects to report a jump in full-year profit and revenue as it hailed a strong start to 2025.
In an update for the year to the end of December 2024, the W7 and Technic owner said revenue is expected to have risen to about £102m from £89.6m a year earlier, while pre-tax profit is expected to have increased to £24m from £18.1m.
Warpaint said the strong trading performance has continued into January, with revenue approximately 15% higher than January 2024, at an improved margin.
Chief executive Sam Bazini said: "I am pleased with the group's performance in 2024 and the strong start to 2025, despite ongoing consumer spending headwinds. It was also pleasing that improved margins were maintained throughout the year.
"We expect to see continued growth across the group in 2025 and we look forward to completing the acquisition of Brand Architekts later this month and integrating the business into the group."
