Superdry (UK): Restructuring Plan and Delisting
Informative Notice
14 June 2024
FTSE Russell notes the announcement by Superdry (UK, B60BD27) in relation to a Restructuring Plan and delisting of their shares from the London Stock Exchange, which shareholders approved at the General Meeting on Friday 14 June 2024. Subject to court sanctioning the Restructuring Plan on Monday 17 June and Tuesday 18 June, then the cancellation of listing is expected to occur on Monday 15 July 2024.
On the FTSE UK Index Series review market capitalisation date of Tuesday 04 June 2024, Superdry was ranked as an addition to the FTSE Fledgling Index.
Section 4.10. of the FTSE Russell Corporate Action and Events Guide outlines that an event may be considered final where the only outstanding approvals are considered customary. Furthermore, an event scheduled to occur subsequent to the review may be expedited and applied in conjunction with the review date, in order to minimise turnover. Consequently, Superdry will not be added to the FTSE Fledgling Index and will instead be removed from the FTSE Russell indices from the open Monday 24 June 2024.
