Bank Of America Overview

In April 2004, Bank of America completed the $47bn purchase of FleetBoston Financial. With almost $1trn of assets and around 36m customers, the deal makes Bank of America the second largest US bank after Citigroup. Its consumer and commercial banking operations serve more than one in four households in the United States.
