TMO Overview

Thermo Electron is a world leader in high-tech instruments, providing instruments, scientific equipment, services and software solutions to life science, laboratory and industrial customers. These products aim to help advance scientific knowledge, enable drug discovery, improve manufacturing processes, and protect people and the environment. The Life and Laboratory Sciences division serves the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and other research and industrial laboratory markets; the Optical Technologies unit provides high-power semiconductor and solid-state lasers; and the Measurement and Control business provides analytical tools, online process instruments and precision temperature-control systems.
