LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Personalised healthcare outfit Concepta named Madeleine Kennedy as its chief financial officer on Friday, taking over from Barbara Spurrier.
Kennedy joins Concepta having previously acted as interim CFO for Ieso Digital Health and PsiOxus Therapeutics. She was also CFO for Lab21 and finance director at Alliance Pharma, taking it through its initial public offering.

She specialises in growing life science businesses and has more than 20 years' experience in the sector, both in public and private companies.

Concepta said Spurrier had left to spend more time on her other business interests.

Chairman Matthew Walls said: "We would like to thank Barbara for her kind help and support to the business as CFO since Concepta effected the reverse takeover in 2016 and we are delighted to welcome Maddy to the Concepta PLC board."

As of 1020 BST, Concepta shares had slipped 8.11% to 1.70p.
