LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Cleaning, hygiene and decontamination service provider React Group announced on Wednesday that it had secured an initial two-year contract to offer regular window and signage cleaning services to an expanding, unnamed variety store chain in the UK.
The AIM-traded firm said the contract encompassed services for around 700 retail outlets, located in high streets, retail parks, and shopping centres nationwide.

Set to start in October, the contract was estimated to have a total life value of around £0.5m.

Additionally, there was potential for the contract to grow in value due to the provision of additional services, and the opening of new retail locations by the variety store chain.

"We are excited to have another prominent and well-known brand choose to appoint React to a national contract, recognising our strength through our LaddersFree business to provide consistently high-quality services at great value across the whole of their UK estate," said chief executive officer Shaun Doak.

"Furthermore, our window cleaners operate locally to every store and rarely travel more than a handful of miles to each site, not only providing great service and great value but also maintaining a low impact on the environmental challenges faced by multi-site estates today."

At 1414 BST, shares in React Group were up 3.63% at 1.56p.
