LONDON (ShareCast) - (ShareCast News) - Karelian Diamond Resources was granted a diamond exploration permit in the Kuhmo region of Finland by The Finnish Mining Authority, the company announced on Friday.
Karelian said the permit, covering an area of 601.68, is for a period of four years and provides the holder with an exclusive right to apply for a mining permit.
The company further announced that the proposed date of its Annual General Meeting would be 21 December 2017.
Professor Richard Conroy, chairman at Karelian Diamond Resources plc said: "I am very pleased that we have been granted an exploration permit surrounding the location of our significant discovery of a green diamond and look forward to continued results from the Company's exploration programme in the region."
