RBC Capital Markets lifts easyJet to 'outperform'

(Sharecast News) - RBC Capital Markets upgraded easyJet on Tuesday to 'outperform' from 'sector perform' and lifted the price target to 650p from 570p saying it's expecting FY26 profit progress to surprise to the upside.

(Sharecast News) - EasyJet is set to restart its long-running feud with arch-rival Ryanair with the substitution of 80 of its smallest jets, A319s, for larger and more efficient models. Ryanair is also renewing its fleet, but the move is being hampered by a production crisis at Boeing, among other considerations. According to EasyJet chief executive officer Kenton Jarvis the upgrade of its fleet as a key driver of its bid to raise its annual pre-tax profits to more than £1bn. - The Sunday Telegraph
EasyJet shares fall despite confidence in FY earnings

(Sharecast News) - Shares in easyJet fell on Thursday despite the budget airline saying it was confident in meeting annual profit forecasts with forward bookings for the third-quarter 80% sold ahead of the key summer period.
