LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Gem Diamonds has recovered a high quality 233 carat Type II white diamond from its Letseng mine in Lesotho.
This follows the recent recovery of a high quality 442 carat Type II diamond, one of the world's largest gem quality diamonds to be recovered this year.
Shore Capital said these two diamonds should provide a "welcome and much-needed boost to Gem's FY20 financial results, given this year's particularly tough market".
At 0820 BST, the shares were up 5.9% at 32.40p.
