LONDON (ShareCast) - (ShareCast News) - Consumer self-care group Venture Life has secured a new long-term exclusive distribution deal in Austria with a new partner for its Procto-eze range, it announced on Friday.
The AIM-traded firm said Germania Pharmazeutika - a privately-owned pharmaceutical company focussed on products specifically for women's health, diabetes and gastro-related issues - would launch all products in the Procto-eze range in 2018.

It said the range comprised of three products - a cleanser, a cream and wipes - which provide a "comprehensive treatment regimen" for haemorrhoids and anal irritation for men and women.

Separately, Venture Life also announced that it received a patent grant for its UltraDEX Sensitive range in Indonesia.

The company said that further strengthened its patent base for UltraDEX Sensitive, as it continued its search for international partners.

UltraDEX Sensitive was set to launch next in the Nordic regions in the first quarter of 2018, with final launch plans in the process of being completed.

"I am delighted with the appointment of another exclusive long-term partner for the Procto-eze range in an important EU market," said CEO Jerry Randall.

"This innovative range of products is beginning to get traction in a number of international markets."

Randall said the company was continuing to see "strong levels" of interest in its branded portfolio, and expected a continued flow of new partner announcements in the future.

"In addition, the patent grant in Indonesia adds to the patent estate surrounding the UltraDEX Sensitive range that we currently have already in the EU, USA and many other markets, building on this valuable asset."
