LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Kosovo and Balkans-focussed marble quarrying and processing company Fox Marble has signed its fourth contract in less than a year, it announced on Wednesday, to supply a major municipal construction project in Kosovo.
The AIM-traded firm said the contract, valued at more than €0.19m would see cut and finished paving tiles delivered for installation in the first stage of the redevelopment of the town square in the eastern town of Kamenica.

It said the 6,500 square metres of cut and finished paving tiles would be supplied throughout 2021 using material from the company's quarries, and processed in its factory in Lipjan, Kosovo.

The contract was with the developers charged with restoring the town square, which would be paved with material exclusively supplied by Fox Marble.

"This contract to supply paving tiles to a municipality is the fourth such large contract Fox Marble has won since May, and the second one this year alone," said chief executive officer Chris Gilbert.

"Our marble comes from our quarries in Kosovo and North Macedonia and we are proud to supply locally quarried and processed stone to another important municipal development."

Gilbert said the contracts were a "visible example" of the quality of both the material and the company's finished stone product.

"We are grateful to our dedicated workforce who have contributed so fully to improving the rate of production in our factory allowing us to fulfil these substantial contracts within our existing operating setup and look forward to updating the market as we continue to win more new business in 2021."

At 1608 GMT, shares in Fox Marble Holdings were down 9.09% at 2p.
