LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Podcast company Audioboom turned in a record quarterly revenue on Monday as advertiser numbers and impressions both continued rise.
Audioboom traded in line with management's expectations during the three months ended 30 September, with quarterly revenues soaring 86% to $5.7m. Year-to-date revenues were up 127% to $15.5m.
Brand advertiser count increased 15% to 244, while available premium advertising impressions of 446m were up 66% year-on-year.
Global revenue per 1,000 downloads during September increased to $27.38 - up 28% on the same period a year earlier.
The AIM-listed group's cash position slightly contracted quarter-on-quarter, falling to. $2.5m from the $3.4m it had on hand on 30 June.
Interim chief executive Stuart Last said: "We're pleased to confirm another strong quarter of growth for Audioboom, cementing our position as one of the largest independent podcast companies in the world.
"Audioboom is in the strongest position since its founding, and I'm excited to lead this incredible team into a new phase, fully focused on driving the core business forward and delivering value to our podcast partners and our shareholders."
As of 0940 BST, Audioboom shares were down 3.64% to 173.45p.
