LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Independent cruise port operator Global Ports Holding announced on Friday that, in light of the "emerging opportunities" it was seeing in its cruise business, it was undertaking a strategic review of the group.
The London-listed firm said it was being carried out by Goldman Sachs International.

It explained that the purpose of the strategic review was to explore ways to maximise value for all stakeholders, and that it would include a range of potential corporate activity including a sale of certain assets, as well as strategic investments and partnerships.

"Whilst the strategic review process remains at an early stage, Global Ports Holding confirms that it has received a number of preliminary offers for certain assets which it is currently evaluating and there can be no certainty as to the final outcome," the board said in its statement.

"A further announcement will be made when it is appropriate to do so."
