LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Diageo revealed on Monday that company secretary Siobhán Moriarty had disposed of 12,423 shares in the FTSE-100 listed drinks maker.
Moriarty, who was awarded 26,365 shares ordinary shares as part of the group's long-term incentive plan, sold a portion of the shares on Friday to cover tax liabilities at an average price of 2,504.0p each, for a total value of £311,071.93.

Back in mid-August, Diageo agreed to buy Aviation American Gin through the acquisition of Aviation Gin and Davos Brands for up to $610.0m.

Through the acquisition, Diageo also acquired other brands in the Davos Brands' portfolio - consisting of Astral Tequila, Sombra Mezcal and TYKU Sake.

As of 1610 BST, Diageo shares were up 1.85% at 2,555.50p.
