LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Housebuilder Barratt Developments said on Tuesday that it is eligible for support under the UK Government's Covid Corporate Financing Facility, should it be required.
The facility provides funding to businesses by buying commercial paper of up to one-year maturity, issued by firms making what is deemed to be a material contribution to the UK economy.
"As a business we continue to focus on taking the right actions and planning for the future so that we are well-placed to be able to continue to deliver the high quality homes the country needs when it is safe and appropriate to do so," Barratt said.
