LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - N Brown revealed on Wednesday that non-executive director Joshua Alliance had acquired 7.37m ordinary shares in the London-listed online retailer.
Alliance, the son of former chairman David Alliance, purchased the shares on Monday at an average price of 62.03p each, for a total value of £4.57m.

Last week, N Brown said annual profits had almost halved as income fell during the pandemic but the clothing and homewares retailer said product revenue had returned to growth.

Adjusted pretax profit for the year to the end of February fell 49.4% to £30.1m from a year earlier as group revenue dropped 13% to £728.8m.

Product revenue, which excludes financial services income, fell 14.4% to £468.4m. Statutory pretax profit plunged 72.3% to £9.9m.

As of 1625 BST, N Brown shares were up 5.19% at 66.32p.
