View on Past Performance

During the year under review markets have struggled to match the strong gains witnessed in the previous accounting period. Having risen 48.29% to March 2000, the fund gave back some of its earlier strength with a decline of 25%.

Future Expectations

The Trust will invest principally in a portfolio of UK and overseas equities which offer the greatest growth potential. The Trust may also have holdings in preference shares, convertibles and loan stocks. The portfolio will provide a diversified investment in international equity markets in order to create a portfolio which will maximise capital growth and income over the longer term.
