The best performing industries within the global equity-ex UK market over the quarter were Industrial Metals, Industrial Engineering and Mining. The worst performing sectors were Household Goods, Pharmaceuticals & Biotechnology and General Industrials.

Future Expectations

Currently, markets are discounting a slowdown in corporate earnings. However, we believe the fund is well positioned to benefit from those companies that, from our perspective, are attractively valued yet offer greater sustainability of future earnings.
