LONDON (ShareCast) - (ShareCast News) - Harwood Capital, acting as investment manager on behalf of North Atlantic Smaller Companies Investment Trust PLC, picked up another large batch of shares in EKF Diagnostics.
Christoper Mills, who was named to the post of non-executive chairman at the global point-of-care medical diagnostics provider on 22 April, was also a partner and Chief Investment Officer of Harwood and a director and shareholder in NAIT.

The transaction was conducted on Friday at a price of 11.5p for each share, for a total transaction cost of £51,481.59.

Following the purchase, NAIT's interest stood at 65,395,322 ordinary Shares, representing 14.09% of the company's shareholders' equity.

Oryx International Growth Fund Limited's (whose investment adviser was Harwood) stake remained at 40m shares or 8.62% of the issued share capital.

Combined, that took Mr. Mills's indirect beneficial interest in the firm to roughly 105.4m shares, equating to 22.71% of the firm's equity.
