LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Synthomer said on Wednesday that chief executive Callum MacLean had acquired 31,979 ordinary shares in the FTSE 250-listed chemicals group.
MacLean, who will leave the company at the beginning of 2022, deferred part of his 2020 annual cash bonus into shares to make the transaction, with each share being added to his portfolio at an average price of 463.0p each, for a total value of £148,062.77.

Earlier in March, Synthomer reported a 12.8% rise in its underlying group revenue at constant currency to £1.64bn in its preliminary results as its volumes rose 11.8% to 1,638.2 kilotonne equivalents.

Synthomer added that group underlying EBITDA was 47.1% firmer at constant exchange rates, at £259.4m.

As of 1645 BST, Synthomer shares were down 0.51% at 465.60p.
