LONDON (ShareCast) - Gold explorer Hambledon Mining said it has raised 1.93m pounds by placing 97.97m new ordinary shares at 1.97p each.
The proceeds will be used for general working capital purposes, and are expected to increase the company's flexibility in securing its funding requirements for the full scale development of the underground mine at Sekisovskoye.
The total number of voting rights in the company following the placing was 1.6bn.
Shares fell 1.28% to 1.92p at 15:50 on Friday.
