LONDON (ShareCast) - (ShareCast News) - AIM-listed Good Energy Group has won planning consent for a solar farm in Dorset.
The company already had consent for its 24MW solar farm, but that was subject to judicial review.
Good Energy said its latest application was successful and construction on farm was likely to start later this year.
The electricity company said the project would generate enough power for more than 6,000 homes.
Good Energy chief executive Juliet Davenport each solar farm that gains planning consent offers the opportunity for more renewable electricity to be produced and supplied to customers in the UK.
Shares in Good Energy were down 0.22% to 218.01p at 1127 BST.
