LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Financial advisor and asset manager Frenkel Topping has seen some "positive" trading so far this year, leading it to reiterate its full-year guidance on Tuesday.
The AIM-listed group said trading had been positive year-to-date, benefitting from a number of new asset management and expert witness mandates having been secured in the second half.

Frenkel doubled down on management's expectations for the full year to 31 December on the back of its new contract wins, which it said were a result of its significant investment into the launch of its own training academy aimed at deepening its talent pool and nurturing homegrown skills.

Frenkel Topping also said its expert witness revenues had exceeded its annual target, an encouraging indication of future growth.

Chief executive Richard Fraser, said: "The new business we have won is testament to the investments made in the year, and importantly, shows further progress against the company's strategy."

"Moreover, the new product offerings we have launched enhances our ability to both service clients and provide them with the highly skilled and expert service they require."

As of 0940 GMT, Frenkel Topping shares had lost 2.94% to 26.25p.
