LONDON (ShareCast) - UK office service supplier Restore has acquired the business and assets of document management business Ancora Solutions from call centre provider IPPlus.
Restore bought Ancora for £500,000 in cash on a cash-free, debt-free basis, funded from existing bank facilities.
Ancora, which operates primarily in London and eastern England, provides secure document removal, archiving, confidential data destruction and library move services to the medical and scientific industries, as well as industrial and professional sectors.
IPPlus is selling it to focus on its core activities of contact centre provision, call centre software and telephony, which made up more than 90% of group revenues in the past financial year.
IPPlus chief executive William Catchpole said: "This disposal is an important strategic step for the group and allows us to focus on our core call centre and software activities."
Shares in Restore were unchanged at 266.5p at 09:16 in London. IPPlus stock was also flat at 15.25p.
