LONDON (ShareCast) - (ShareCast News) - Africa-focussed oil and gas exploration group BowLeven updated the market on farm-out discussions over the Bomono production sharing contract on Thursday, confirming an extension to their termination date with Victoria Oil & Gas.
The AIM-traded firm had announced the signing of the farm-out agreement with Cameroon-focussed integrated energy company Victoria on 6 March.

"The company is pleased to confirm that discussions regarding the proposed farm-out are progressing and BowLeven and VOG continue to work with the Government of Cameroon to advance the Bomono project," the BowLevel board said in its statement.

"Consequently, VOG has elected to exercise its option to extend the termination date of the agreement to 31 December."
