LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Sterling found a bid again on Thursday even as the US dollar continued to grind higher, particularly against the single currency.
As of 1914 BST, cable was adding 0.43% to 1.21123 versus the US dollar and 0.72% against Sterling to 1.0904.
In the background meanwhile, the spot US dollar index was 0.18% higher to 98.1600 and less than a percentage point away from its 52-week highs.
Against the yuan, the Greenback was up by 0.14% to 7.0340, having reversed earlier losses.
It was also a tad higher against the Japanese yen, edging up by 0.07% to 106.03 and by 0.05% against Canada's Loonie to 1.33625.
Euro/dollar meanwhile was 0.29% lower at 1.11069.
