LONDON (ShareCast) - Alexander Mining has received a patent for a leaching method, the company confirmed on Wednesday.
The US patent, which is for a method of extracting copper and molybdenum, has a standard term of 20 years, Alexander Mining said in a statement.
The patent forms part of MetaLeach's family of core AmmLeach technologies, the statement read.
Shares in Alexander Mining were up 16% to 0.870p on Wednesday at 1206BST.
