LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Ralf Wunderlich, a non-executive director of plastic and fibre products supplier Essentra, purchased 20,000 ordinary shares in the London-listed firm on Wednesday.
Wunderlich, who was appointed to Essentra's board and its remuneration and nomination committee in July 2017, acquired the shares at an average cost of 472.20p each for a total value of £94,440.

Just last week, Essentra revealed it had returned to profit growth as it unveiled a 7% rise in half-year pre-tax profits to £21m.

Revenue fell to £513.1m from £522.6m, but was unchanged on a like-for-like basis, the company said.

The interim dividend was held at 6.3p a share as Essentra reported margin growth in three of its four divisions.

As of 1500 BST, Essentra shares had picked up 3.23% to 485.20p.
