LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Building materials firm CRH appointed Richie Boucher to the role of chairman on Thursday, taking over from former chair Nicky Hartery.
Boucher thanked Hartery for his "excellent stewardship" of the CRH board during his tenure and for his commitment to the group as a non-executive director since 2004 - during which time he also held the roles of senior independent director and remuneration committee chairman.
Prior to joining CRH in March 2018, Boucher was chief executive of Bank of Ireland Group between February 2009 and October 2017.
As of 0800 GMT, CRH shares were up 1.91% at 3,100p.
