LONDON (ShareCast) - @UK, a cloud eCommerce marketplace, has said it has identified 'major' prospects for its subsidiary, @Australia, in the Asia-Pacific region at the Futuregov Summit in Chiang Mai in Thailand. Negotiations have progressed with a number of organisations following a series of discussions. Lyn Duncan, co-founder of @UK, said: "This has been an eye-opening trip for @UK. It has allowed us to come face-to-face with dozens of prospects across the Asia-Pacific region, and sense their excitement about the @Australia marketplace. We've created numerous new opportunities."

Probability, a mobile gambling specialist, has posted net gaming revenue of £2.30m (up 35.3% year-on-year) for the quarterended September 30th. Desposits from players were 44% higher. "LadyLuck's" iPhone App has been downloaded over 40,000 times since being introduced in June 2012, while its "Long John's Silver" slot game for iOS and Android devices became the quickest game to achieve £1m of total bets, in under two weeks.

James Cropper, a specialist paper and materials group, has welcomed a decision by the Department for Business Innovation & Skills to select the company's proposed steam raising plant for support from the Regional Growth Fund. If the due diligence process is successful a grant of up to £3.1m would contribute to the capital investment of approximately £7.0m at the company's site in Kendal, Cumbria. If successful, the plant would be operational by late 2014.
