LONDON (ShareCast) - James Fisher and Sons (JFS) has scored a two-year contract to support Dounreay Site Restoration (DSR) with the world’s deepest nuclear clean-up project.
The British provider of marine and engineering services will supply a suite of remote handling equipment to support the retrieval, sorting and segregation of miscellaneous waste materials from the DSR shaft and silo facilities.
The contract is valued close to £5.0m.
"JFN being chosen for this key contract in the world's deepest nuclear clean-up project, reflects their specific expertise and track record in providing remote handling systems for the nuclear industry," said Chief Executive Officer, Nick Henry.
"It also further extends our customer base, and we are delighted to be working with Dounreay on this demanding project."
Shares fell 0.605 to 994p at 08:42 Monday.
