LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - JD Sports Fashion's executive chairman, Peter Cowgill, picked up some more shares of the group on Monday.


Cowgill bought 50,000 shares at 861.685 apiece for a total transaction amount of £430,843.

That took his total stake to 3,942,934 shares or the equivalent of 0.4% of the company's capital.

Under a week before, shareholder advisory firm Glass Lewis had called on investors to vote down what it termed as Cowgill's "inappropriate" pay.

Cowgill's total pay, including a short-term salary reduction, was nearly £5.0m.
