LONDON (ShareCast) - (ShareCast News) - Sport nutrition outfit Science in Sport said full year sales powered ahead by 18% to £9.45m.
The company said sales growth was particularly strong in international markets, from the company's own online operation and from third-party e-tailers. It expects strong growth to continue this year.
"The first quarter of 2016 sees the launch and roll out of the Company's novel WHEY20 protein product, which will be distributed in approximately 1170 multiple grocer outlets by April," SiS said in a trading update.
"In addition approximately 400 independent cycle shops, High Street retailer Decathlon, and both Company and third-party e-commerce websites will sell the product."
SiS said it terminated its master distributor agreement with SiS Asia Pacific in December 2015, and had set up a wholly owned subsidiary to develop directly the SiS brand in the Australian market, managed by an in-market commercial team.
