LONDON (ShareCast) - (ShareCast News) - Television and multimedia content producer Zinc Media Group has been commissioned by ITV to produce a three-part primetime series with the Royal Air Force.
Zinc was set to piece together the "highly ambitious" access-led documentary via its subsidiary Blakeway Productions.

Blakeway, which was in advanced discussions with potential US co-production partners, said the size of the commission was "material" to its budget, but if talks with its potential North American partners bore fruit, it expected it to result in a "larger overall commission value".

David Galan, chief operating and financial officer, said: "We are delighted that we have been awarded this high-profile commission with ITV and the RAF which further highlights our strategy of securing bigger budget multi-part series in our TV business.

"We are also delighted to be working once again with ITV to bring quality and informative factual programming to the UK and international markets."

As of 1515 GMT, shares had pushed ahead 10.67% to 0.83p.
