LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Zinc Media appointed Will Sawyer to the role of chief financial officer on Wednesday, taking over from interim director of finance Katie O'Reilly.
The AIM-listed TV and multimedia content producer told investors that Sawyer brings with him a wealth of industry knowledge given his many years of experience in the TV production and media sectors.

Sawyer joined Zinc from ITN Productions, where he most recently acted as the group's finance director.

Chief executive David Galan, said: "He brings a deep and directly relevant experience of the TV production industry to the role. His experience and skill set will be of great use to the company as we focus on improving profitability, efficiency and growth.

"I look forward to working with him as we continue to focus and grow the business into one of the leading independent TV producers."

Zinc also stated O'Reilly would remain involved with the group "in the future".

As of 0935 BST, Zinc shares had slipped 5.44% to 0.43p.
