LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Wealth manager Rathbone Brothers has appointed Jennifer Mathias as group finance director with effect from 1 April next year.
Mathias joins the company from EFG Private Bank, where she has been chief finance officer and deputy chief executive officer since 2015. Before that, she was global CFO at Coutts and held various senior positions at Lloyds Banking Group over 16 years.

Following Mathias' appointment, group current FD Paul Stockton, who has been operating a dual role as managing director of Rathbone Investment Management since May, will resume the latter executive role on a full-time basis. He will also work closely with Mathias to ensure a smooth transition.

Chief executive Philip Howell said: "I am delighted that Jennifer will be joining our board and executive team and look forward to working alongside her. With extensive experience in the wealth management and private banking sectors, she will make a significant contribution to the delivery of our strategic plans and brings qualities that will be complementary to the management team at Rathbones."

At 1325 BST, the shares were up 0.1% to 2,452p.
