LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Anti-microbial technology company Byotrol announced the appointment of Nic Hellyer as its chief financial officer and executive director on Tuesday, with immediate effect.
The AIM-traded firm said Hellyer was a Chartered Accountant and a former investment banker with more than 25 years of corporate finance experience, mostly at UBS and HSBC, managing corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, and fundraisings for growth and entrepreneurial companies.

He was being employed on a part-time basis by the company alongside his other business interests, which included a part-time CFO role at Pelatro, another AIM-listed company.

The firm said it had granted Hellyer options over two million shares under the Byotrol approved share option scheme, at a strike price of 2.6p.

Those options would be exercisable in three tranches from 28 May 2020, 2021 and 2022, subject to the company's share price reaching hurdles of 3.5p, 5.5p and 7.5p.

"We are delighted to welcome Nic to the board of the Byotrol," said chairman John Langlands.

"He has a wealth of experience from his time in the investment banking world, including extensive experience in the smaller company environment, and has directly relevant experience as a finance director for an SME on AIM.

"His skills will be invaluable to us as we continue to grow and develop Byotrol."
